Mercy Care honored Kate Brophy McGee with their Lifetime Achievement Award. Ms. Brophy McGee was recognized for her outstanding service to our state and in particular, her tireless efforts to strengthen Arizona’s Medicaid and child health/welfare systems. As part of the awards ceremony, Molera Alvarez partner Jaime A. Molera partook in a video (see link below) along with Mercy Care Board member Linda Hunt, Mercy Care CEO Lorry Botrill, former Governor Jan Brewer, former Representative Deb Gullett, and Governor Doug Ducey. According to Molera, “Kate was the primary factor in significant statewide policy including needed reforms and the creation of the Department of Child Safety, the expansion of Kids Care, and the expansion/restoration of Arizona’s Medicaid system.  Her legacy will forever be associated with helping our most vulnerable populations.”
