Mercy Care Partners with Connections Health Solutions & Maricopa Board of Supervisors
Mercy Care, a Molera Alvarez client, is helping expand access to critical behavioral health services across Maricopa County by funding the return of Connections Health Solutions as a provider of court-ordered mental health evaluations and treatment. The expanded program will provide on-site court hearings supported by secure virtual technology, helping individuals access legal resources and treatment more quickly while reducing unnecessary delays. The partnership builds on a successful pilot launched during the COVID-19 pandemic and addresses a critical gap in court-ordered behavioral health services following the pilot’s conclusion. Mercy Care’s funding supports the program as part of its role managing behavioral health crisis services in Maricopa County through its contract with AHCCCS. “Not only will services be more readily available, but so will access to court resources and virtual hearing opportunities, which has historically delayed individuals from receiving timely services,” said Mercy Care CEO Tad Gary. Through its investment, Mercy Care is helping strengthen the behavioral health system and improve timely access to care for individuals throughout Maricopa County.
