Invest in Kansas Webinar Hosted by COPARMEX Sonora Norte

On February 17th, Molera Alvarez partnered with longtime Sonora associates Ana Maria Araque-Proto and Antonio Proto of  DPA Consulting to put on an international business expansion webinar on behalf of our client the Kansas Regional Center. Hosted by COPARMEX Sonora Norte (Mexican Employers’ Association Sonora arm), the webinar educated northern Mexico business leaders on investment opportunities in Kansas via the EB-5 investor visa program. The webinar’s 50 attendees, representing a variety of industries in northern Mexico, learned about the benefits, structure, and legal requirements of the EB-5 visa program from Randy Speaker, Managing Partner of the Kansas Regional Center, and immigration law expert Robert Lubin Esq., Managing Partner of American Investor Immigration Law, PLLC in Herndon, Virginia. They were also provided information about specific investment opportunities in aerospace, a major economic driver in Kansas, which delivers approximately one-third of all general aviation planes built in the U.S. The EB-5 Visa program enables foreign nationals who invest at least $900,000 USD and create 10 U.S. jobs to obtain permanent residency for themselves and their immediate family.

Molera Alvarez would like to thank Kurt Gerhard, incoming President of COPARMEX Sonora Norte for opening the event and emphasizing the need for increased links between Mexican and U.S. businesses to enhance resilience and improve business opportunities in the wake of COVID-19.
