Phoenix Receives US Government Recognition for Promoting Innovation & Entrepreneurship
The City of Phoenix received a national distinction on April 11 for its role in the 5th Americas Competitiveness Exchange on Innovation & Entrepreneurship (ACE). The ACE visit to Phoenix, directed by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Organization of American States, was organized with the assistance of Molera Alvarez General Counsel James Ahlers. The program brought dozens of global economic development leaders — predominantly from Canada, Mexico and Latin America — to experience the Phoenix innovation ecosystem, including such highlights as the downtown biomedical campus.
