ProMexico Phoenix officially opens doors

promexicoThe Phoenix office of ProMexico, the trade and investment promotion arm of the Mexican government, officially opened its doors on Monday, November 23. ProMexico CEO Francisco Gonzalez Diaz presided over the office inauguration along with Mexican Consul General Roberto Rodriguez, with the leaders of Arizona’s economic development community, Senator Jeff Flake, Mayor Greg Stanton, and Councilman Michael Nowakowski in attendance.

City and state leaders have advocated for the opening of an Arizona ProMexico office to serve as a counterpart to the Arizona Trade and Investment Office in Mexico City, which opened in October 2014. The Phoenix ProMexico office is the 12th such office in the United States, and will be managed by Eduardo Gonzalez Diaz de Leon out of the Mexican Consulate.
