Molera Alvarez recently organized a trade mission to Mexico City on behalf of Greater Phoenix Leadership (GPL) that was led by Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs, Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego, Mesa Mayor John Giles and Tucson Mayor Regina Romero. The purpose of the trade mission, which took place on February 28 – March 2, 2024, was to connect Arizona government and business leaders with key Mexican public and private sector leaders to elevate Arizona’s profile as a trade and investment partner. Over forty GPL members, led by Chair Pam Kehaly and President/CEO Neil Giuliano, along with state and local government officials participated and met with key individuals and organizations such as the Honorable Ken Salazar, US Ambassador to Mexico, the Honorable Raquel Buenrostro Sánchez, Mexico’s Secretary of Economy, members from the Business Coordinating Council (CCE), American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM), The American Society of Mexico and Mexico’s Industry Club.
