Anheuser-Busch and Montejo provide donation to Hispanic Scholarship Fund

ManaOn September 17, 2015, Anheuser-Busch and Cerveza Montejo partnered with the Grammy award-winning Mexican rock band Maná to celebrate Mexican Independence Day and the 40th anniversary of the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF). Through a consumer sweepstakes, Cerveza Montejo and Maná awarded 1,000 lucky winners a once-in-a-lifetime Mexican Independence Day celebration by hosting them at a private concert in Los Angeles. As part of this celebration, Anheuser-Busch Foundation donated $100,000 to HSF to help support the efforts of the nation’s leading not-for-profit organization that supports Hispanic American higher education. Cerveza Montejo, the official beer of Maná’s sold-out U.S. concert tour, also awarded an additional $250,000 to HSF earlier this year.

“Education is at the core of our values and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund has helped pave the road for many Latino students who aspire to receive a higher learning education,” said Margarita Flores, vice president of community affairs for Anheuser-Busch. “HSF is the perfect community partner for Montejo.” For more information on Montejo, visit www.CervezaMontejo.com.
