Border Commerce Leaders Advocate for Regional Development
Margie Emmermann, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives of Molera Alvarez, joined U.S.- Mexico border business leaders in Nevada earlier this month to kick off a private sector-led initiative to strengthen border ties and address the unique economic promise of the border region. More than a dozen organizations convened in Las Vegas to discuss the current challenges affecting cross-border commerce as well as opportunities to enhance the region’s global competitiveness through collaboration. These leaders aim to present a united front on behalf of the cross-border business community and advocate for improvements along the entire US-Mexico border region, to impact policy in our nations’ capitals.
