Greater Phoenix Business Leaders Trade & Tourism London Mission
The Greater Phoenix Business Leaders Trade & Tourism London Mission brought together Arizona business, civic and tourism leaders for several days of discussions focused on strengthening economic ties, tourism and international partnerships between Arizona and the United Kingdom. Hosted by Greater Phoenix Leadership in conjunction with the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, the City of Phoenix, and Visit Phoenix, the delegation engaged with business, government, and industry leaders across a range of sectors, including tourism, aerospace, health, and defense. The mission also highlighted Arizona’s economic and tourism opportunities abroad, with Visit Phoenix President & CEO Ron Price participating in conversations focused on showcasing the region as a destination for visitors and investment. The week also celebrated Arizona State University’s growing international presence in London, including kicking off the launch of ASU’s London Campus, an ASU Foundation event at Drapers’ Hall, and ended with the Union Jack Classic footbal game where ASU beat the University of Kansas to win the inaugural matchup at Wembley Stadium. The week abroad highlighted the opportunities for Greater Phoenix in international markets and laid the groundwork for continued collaboration between Arizona and the UK. Molera Alvarez was honored to play a key role in organizing the mission, helping coordinate programming and facilitate opportunities for Arizona leaders to engage with UK counterparts.
