Romero Selected for Inaugural U.S.-Mexico Leaders Initiative

Earlier this month, Molera Alvarez VP of Communications and Advocacy Lorna Romero traveled to Mexico City and the state of Queretaro as part of the Inaugural U.S.-Mexico Leaders Initiative hosted by the Center for American Progress (CAP). Fifteen leaders from the public, private, and civic sectors with diverse personal, political, and policy backgrounds held a series of meetings with various representatives to exchange concerns and ideas between the next generation of leaders in the U.S. and Mexico. “The U.S.-Mexico Leaders Initiative was an experience of a lifetime,” said Romero. “It was incredible to meet with high level Mexican officials, policy experts and thought leaders on the major issues facing the United States and Mexico.” The U.S.-Mexico Leaders Initiative is part of the expanding work being done by CAP on the U.S.-Mexico bi-national relationship.
