Wichita Hosts Business Delegation from Querétaro
The City of Wichita, Kansas, and Mayor Jeff Longwell received a delegation from Colón, Querétaro, from December 10th to 12th on a business development mission organized by Molera Alvarez, Estrategia Global, and Kansas Global Trade Services. Colón Mayor Alejandro Ochoa led a delegation of industrial development, agribusiness and academic leaders in meeting with Greater Wichita area economic development leaders and advanced manufacturing companies. The mission included meetings and tours with Bombardier Learjet, the National Institute of Aviation Research at Wichita State University, and Midwest Corporate Aviation MRO (maintenance and repair organization). Colón is the hub of Querétaro’s thriving aeronautics sector, and is home to major operations of Airbus Helicopter, Bombardier, Safran and Delta-AeroMexico TechOps MRO, as well the National Aeronautical University (UNAQ).
