University of Arizona’s New Biosciences Partnership Building
On March 3, 2016, Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton and Vice Mayor Kate Gallego joined University of Arizona (UofA) President Ann Hart and other city and university leaders at the Biosciences Partnership Building’s Topping-Off Ceremony. The 10-story, $136 million Biomedical Sciences Partnership Building is the latest development in the expansion of the downtown Phoenix Biomedical Campus and academic medical center. Phoenix leaders say that this bioscience and research center will bring innovation and jobs to downtown Phoenix and drive other types of development in the area. The UofA, a Molera Alvarez client, expects the research facility to open early next year.
