U.S. Global Leadership Coalition Global Impact Forum

Molera Alvarez team member Carmen Ronan attended the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition’s (USGLC) Global Impact Forum in Washington, D.C. on June 13-14. A member of USGLC’s Next Gen Leaders Network class of 2022, Carmen joined state leaders from the USGLC’s bipartisan coalition—veterans, faith, and business leaders from across the country—to educate policymakers on the importance of development and diplomacy as key tools of America’s global leadership toolkit, and to share insights as young leaders with members of Congress. Carmen joined Arizona advocates in meeting with the Hon. Representative Ann Kirkpatrick and staff of several other Arizona members of Congress. As part of the two-day convening, she also heard remarks by USAID Administrator Ambassador Samantha Power, U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack, the Hon. Representative Joaquin Castro, and other of the U.S.’s top experts in global health, security, and development about the importance of sustained U.S. engagement with trading partners and allies abroad.
