The Western Way Hosts Roundtable Breakfast
On September 5th, Molera Alvarez client The Western Way and Arizona Governor Hobbs’ Office of Resiliency engaged in a roundtable breakfast to discuss the future of collaboration on matters of energy, infrastructure, and workforce development. John Karakoulakis, Director of the Western Way, opened the meeting by saying that he hopes it is the first in many conversations between the public and private sectors to develop a strong team to address the numerous opportunities Arizona has to be a leader in industry while doing so sustainably.
Among attendees were Director of the Office of Resiliency Maren Mahoney, CEO of the Southern Arizona Leadership Council Ted Maxwell, President and CEO of the Arizona Technology Council Steve Zylstra, and many other leaders in the education, innovation, and manufacturing industries. As the Office of Resiliency continues to grow and connect itself to partners in industry across the state, we are proud to be a leader and facilitator in making sure we can maximize growth in the long term. Protecting our state and its natural resources while capturing opportunities will solidify Arizona as a home for business investment for not only years to come, but with the work being done together, for decades and generations to come.
