At the State Bar Convention in June, the International Law Section of the Arizona State Bar, chaired by Molera Alvarez General Counsel James Ahlers, hosted an informative seminar on foreign direct investment in Arizona. The program, entitled “Invest in the West: Guiding Your Foreign Clients through Arizona’s Business Climate,” featured practical advice from experienced international attorneys, as well as state and federal officials, on representing foreign clients doing business in Arizona. The panel also featured executives from Hermosillo-based ProAutomation, LLC, which has established operations in Tucson. The program was co-chaired by Matthew S. Apfel, Apfel and Associates, PC, incoming Chair of the International Law Section.
