The Molera Alvarez team was thrilled to partner with the Department of Public Safety, on behalf of Allied Universal, to pass SB1618 and have it signed into law. Through a thorough stakeholder process, our teams joined together to craft legislation that will help modernize the licensure statutes for security guards and private investigators. The previous regulations were over two decades old, but through our efforts, we were able to update the law to reduce red tape, extend license terms, and, most critically, ensure that qualified, hardworking employees can continue working to keep Arizona safe.
