Molera Alvarez VP of Strategic Initiatives panelist at US-Mexico Summit 2016

Margie Emmermann, Molera Alvarez Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, spoke at the Borderplex Alliance panel on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Border Economy during the 2016 US-Mexico Summit held in El Paso, Texas/Ciudad Juarez, August 3-5, 2016. The summit brought together key business, government, and civic leaders from across the border with the goal of elevating the critical role border regions play in facilitating economic, social, and cultural transactions and transformations between our two nations. Roberta Jacobson, newly appointed US Ambassador to Mexico, and Carlos Sada, Mexico’s Ambassador to the US, addressed the audience on the importance of North American integration and the key role border regions play in US-Mexico relations. Several Arizonans were in attendance representing Arizona economic development entities including Lea Marquez Peterson, President & CEO of the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Marisa Walker, Senior Vice President, Arizona Commerce Authority, and Garrick Taylor, Sr. Vice President of Government Relations & Communications with the Arizona Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
