On April 23rd, Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton and Ralph Marchetta, Phoenix Sister Cities Chairman of the Board, presented Margie with the City of Phoenix Global Citizen Award at the Second Annual Mayor’s International Gala to celebrate the City’s cultural diversity. Margie was recognized as an individual who embraces the qualities of a global citizen, exemplifies global citizenship through her leadership and vision, advances the City of Phoenix’s global position, and opens doors and facilitates economic development between Phoenix and Mexico.
