Mercy Care makes generous donation to Hospice of the Valley

MA client Mercy Care has been working with Hospice of the Valley through their Mercy C.A.R.E.S program, and recently made a generous $670,000 donation to their cause. Both Mercy Care and Hospice of the Valley (as well as the Health Network oversight organization Contexture) have been working on the “Choose your Person” campaign to help promote the use of advanced directives and medical care plans. The programs are meant to help people in care facilities and dementia patients to receive timely and effective care with the support and cooperation that is essential to maximize health outcomes.

At an event on Wednesday October 11th, members of the Mercy Care and Hospice of the Valley team were joined by Governor Hobbs and members of her staff to celebrate the presentation of the donation and support the Dementia Care and Education Campus as a place that Arizonans can receive top of the line memory care and promote a system of long-term care for people across the state. Molera Alvarez is proud to stand by the work Mercy Care is doing to develop and support a comprehensive health network in Arizona.
