Molera Alvarez kicked off 2017 with the addition of Lorna Romero as the Vice President of Communications and Advocacy. Lorna, former Communications Director for the 2016 John McCain for U.S. Senate Campaign, is a proven talent when it comes to strategic messaging and clear communication of complex issues. She has a unique blend of policy and political experience and is a known and trusted figure with elected officials and the business community.

Prior to serving on the McCain Campaign, Lorna helped spearhead cornerstone policy initiatives such as Medicaid Restoration, anti-human trafficking legislation and child-safety reform. Earlier in her career, Lorna was the Director of Government Relations for the Arizona Chamber of Commerce & Industry, where she played a key role in enhancing the state’s business climate through education, tax, labor and regulatory reform efforts.
