Arizona Congressman Paul Gosar was a featured guest speaker at a recent business and commerce roundtable hosted by the Arizona Commerce Authority and Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Congressman discussed many issues of concern to the business community in Arizona. Topics included transportation; the I-ll corridor, funding options that are equitable to all road users (gas, electric and alt fuels) and the importance of transportation to economic development and growth especially in rural areas. Another important discussion was the challenges to businesses due to over regulation and restrictions imposed by federal agencies, EPA ruling on waters of the US, restrictions on federal land uses and federal land grabs. The Congressman also discussed his thoughts on the change in leadership in the House of Representatives with the election of Representative Paul Ryan as Speaker.
