AzLTA on Capitol Hill
On May 18, 2017, the Arizona Lodging and Tourism Association led a delegation of board members and hotel operators to Washington, DC to meet with Arizona Congressional members to advocate on behalf of the lodging and tourism industry by communicating the need to ensure a level and legal operating environment for Arizona’s hotels and resorts, travel and tourism groups, professional sports, CVBs, and local businesses that support the industry. Members of AzLTA’s delegation met with U.S. Senator Jeff Flake and with U.S. Representatives Kyrsten Sinema, Martha McSally, and Andy Biggs.
