Christine Mackay Named President & CEO of GPEC
The Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC) Board of Directors has appointed Christine Mackay as its new President & CEO, effective October 13, 2025.
Mackay has served as the City of Phoenix’s Community and Economic Development Director since 2014, bringing nearly 30 years of experience in economic development and commercial real estate. During her tenure, she led projects that generated more than $190 billion in capital investment and over 100,000 new jobs, while advancing transformative initiatives such as TSMC Arizona and the revitalization of Park Central.
“Christine is a powerhouse in the region with meaningful relationships across the market and a deep understanding of our dynamic industry base and GPEC priorities,” said Derrick Hall, GPEC Board Chair.
