Irish Consul General and Minister of State Visit Phoenix’s Irish Cultural Center
On November 3, Hon. Patrick O’Donovan, Irish Minister of State for Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform, and Hon. Robert O’Driscoll, Irish Consul General of Ireland to the Western U.S., visited the Irish Cultural Center and McClelland Library in Phoenix for the International Famine Commemoration. This international commemoration has occurred ten times, with Phoenix being the first city in the western U.S. to have the honor of hosting this solemn event.
