On June 25, 2017, the Latino Leaders Network (LLN) hosted the Tribute to Mayors Reception during the 85th Annual Meeting of the Conference of Mayors which took place in Miami Beach. The event was attended by more than 200 individuals including Mayors, corporate executives and community leaders. The Honorable Robert Garcia, Mayor of the City of Long Beach (California), received the Antonio Villaraigosa Leadership Award, which is presented to a Mayor from a city with a significant Latino population who has exhibited an outstanding commitment to bringing diverse communities together.
