Molera Alvarez Partner Speaks at AZLTA Board Meeting

Jaime A. Molera recently spoke at the Arizona Lodging and Tourism Association Board Meeting. During this meeting, he addressed the negative impacts that the Invest in Education Initiative will have, especially on the tourism industry. Becoming a high-tax state would severely harm the tourism industry and the residents and visitors who rely on Arizona properties, attractions, and destinations for jobs and tax revenues. Many of Arizona’s lodging and tourism small businesses would end up paying higher tax rates than larger corporations. Molera, former Superintendent of Public Instruction, is leading the No Campaign against the Invest in Education Initiative, Arizonans for Great Schools and a Strong Economy.
