Phoenix Mayor Stanton with Mexico Secretary of Foreign Affairs

Ruben Alvarez, Molera Alvarez Managing Partner, accompanied Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton on a trip to Mexico City in support of the Phoenix Suns great distinction in being selected to play in the first ever back to back regular season games hosted by Mexico. Congratulations go out to the Suns for their win against the San Antonio Spurs!

While in Mexico City, Mayor Stanton had the honor of being the first US Mayor to meet with the newly appointed Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Luis Videgaray Caso, to discuss the ongoing efforts the City of Phoenix has undertaken in their relationship with Mexico.

He also attended a reception with Arizona Governor Doug Ducey and Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich as well as other business and state leaders hosted by U.S. Ambassador to Mexico Roberta Jacobson at the official residence. He was the keynote speaker at a luncheon for key tourism trade professionals sponsored by Visit Phoenix to promote Phoenix as a premiere travel destination.
