From September 9 to 12, Molera Alvarez, which acts as the City of Wichita Trade Representative in collaboration with Mexico City firm Estrategia Global and Wichita firm Kansas Global, conducted a business-to-business trade mission from Wichita to the city of Chihuahua, Mexico. The trade mission assisted Wichita aerospace companies in exploring export opportunities to top companies in Chihuahua’s growing aerospace cluster, including Textron Aviation, Bombardier, Fokker GKN, and Honeywell. The Molera Alvarez team advised Wichita companies on how to best approach buyers in meetings, and will continue to support these companies to ensure business opportunities are realized. Wichita representatives also participated in meetings with Chihuahua investors, government officials, and business leaders to showcase Wichita as a premier destination for doing business in the U.S. Trade mission delegates were well-positioned in high-level meetings that opened doors that were previously closed to them.
